Creature Tags¶
What are Creature Tags?
Creature tags are passive features that are usually inherent to a species (or, more rarely, individuals). With very few exceptions (e.g., Colossus), they are attained at birth and cannot be gained or removed without drastic changes to the creature's fundamental nature.

Colossus
Wound Treshold (WT) is halved, but Wound Limit (WL) is doubled.This tag is gained automatically upon reaching a CON value of 20.
Effects are doubled (i.e., WT is quartered and WL is quadrupled) upon reaching 40 CON.
The effects of Nature's Armor and Nature's Will are halved as well to avoid unkillable beasts.
Fast X
Movement Speed (MS) is increased by X.Slow X
Movement Speed (MS) is reduced by X.Sluggish
Universal Action Sprint is unavailable.Freecaster
This creature can Freecast with magic types it is proficient in.Flying X
The creature is inherently capable of flight, with an unmodified movement speed of X.Levitating X
The creature naturally levitates X meters above the ground. Regular movement speed applies.Mindless
The creature is immune to mental status effects and Unconsciousness.Prerequisite: WIL 0.
Construct
Wound Limit (WL) is set to CON-MOD or 3, whichever is higher. Creature Size rules are applied afterward.Prerequisite tag: Mindless.
This tag is meant for artificial beings with no will of their own.
Miniboss
Slaying this creature awards twice the experience points.Natural Defenses
Gains both Nature's Armor and Nature's Will.Nature's Armor
This creature is protected by some form of natural armor (thick fur, scales, exoskeleton…)Armor Value is increased by the following values:
- Head: CON-MOD-2
- Torso: CON-MOD
- Arms: CON-MOD-1
- Legs: CON-MOD-1
Nature's Will
This creature is protected by the magical energies that suffuse all of nature.Magical Defense is increased by WIL-MOD.
Sapient
Sapient creatures are significantly more dangerous than beasts and beast-like monsters. Due to the increased risk of engaging them in combat, they award as much experience as a character of the same level when slain.Sapient creatures often have access to skills, spells, and perks usually reserved for characters.
Trained X
Total SP are increased by X.This tag reflects high-quality training, e.g. military, clerical or similar.
Untrained X
Total SP are decreased by X.This tag reflects a lack of training, education or experience, e.g. common bandits or particularly lazy adventurers.
